Huskies to honor Clow, Primerano and Quam before Friday night match at Husky Stadium
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (1-0-1, 0-0-0 NSIC) will host UW-Parkside (0-1-1) for its 2025 home-opener and nonconference finale on Friday, Sept. 12 at Husky Stadium. First kick is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CT with the match serving as Senior Night for the Huskies.

SERIES HISTORY
The Huskies will be looking for its second win against UW-Parkside with the Rangers holding a 5-1-0 advantage in the all-time series between the two schools. SCSU beat Parkside last season, winning 1-0, on Sept. 15 behind a goal from senior forward Ellie Primerano (Saint Joseph, Mich.).
SENIOR NIGHT
Prior to Friday's match, the Huskies will honor its three seniors for their contributions to the program over the last four years. SCSU will honor senior defender Ella Clow (Minneapolis, Minn.), senior forward Ellie Primerano (Saint Joseph, Mich.) and senior midfielder Brooke Quam (Lakeville, Minn.). The trio have been key contributors during one of the best stretches of play in program history over the past three seasons, helping the Huskies capture its first ever conference championship in 2023 and its first two NCAA Tournament appearances in 2023 and 2024.
QUAM REACHES 25-POINT CLUB
With an assist in SCSU's 1-0 win over Michigan Tech on Sept. 7, senior midfielder Brooke Quam (Lakeville, Minn.) recorded her 25th career point to become the 24th Husky in program history to join the 25-point club. In 59 career games, Quam has scored five goals and 15 assists for 25 career points. Quam has twice been named to an All-NSIC team, earning first team honors in 2023 and second team honors in 2024.
Quam currently ranks 24th all-time in program history in scoring and joins current teammates senior Ellie Primerano (Saint Joseph, Mich.) and junior forward Linsey Trapino (Verona, Wis.) in the 25-point club. Primerano currently ranks 11th with 38 points (12g/14a) while Trapino ranks 17th with 30 points (12g/6a).
LEADERSHIP GROUP
St. Cloud State selected three student-athletes to serve as captains for the 2025 season. Sophomore defender Izzy Halunen (Woodbury, Minn.), senior midfielder Brooke Quam (Lakeville, Minn.) and junior defender Ana Spaine (West Des Moines, Iowa) will hold the honor as captains for the Huskies. Spaine earned All-NSIC first team recognition as well as All-Central honors from the USC and D2CCA in 2024, while Halunen and Quam both earned All-NSIC Second Team honors.
HUSKIES LOOK TO BUILD ON BACK-TO-BACK NCAA TOURNAMENT APPEARANCES
Last season, the Huskies earned its second consecutive and second-ever NCAA Tournament berth after a 11-4-5 campaign and 8-1-5 record in NSIC play. SCSU reached 10+ wins for the second consecutive season and eighth time overall, with its first time with back-to-back 10-win seasons since 2010-11. The Huskies set a program record with an 11-game unbeaten streak and advanced to the NSIC Tournament for the seventh time in the last nine seasons played. Six Huskies earned All-NSIC recognition, with Primerano and Spaine each being named to the first team.
