Augustana would take the next two matches as No. 15 Luke Koenen beta Jayce Luna and No. 6 Nolan Ambrose came away with a tech fall over Rowdy Neighbor.
Now leading 12-8, No. 2 Joel Jesuroga took to the mat against reining National Champion (149) Cael Larson. Larson was near the edge of the mat, but Jesuroga was able to pull him back to keep him in bounds. He then lifted Larson's leg up and sweeped the other down to score the takedown. Larson would escape, but Jesuroga ultimately came away with a 4-2 victory.
Gabriel Smith would follow at 165 where his match against Payton Handevidt went into overtime tied 1-1. Overtime saw Gunderson shoot on a double leg attack and secure the takedown to beat Dagel 4-1.
