Two Huskies place top three

Eau Claire, Wis. – No. 13 St. Cloud State Wrestling competed in the Don Parker Open Saturday morning in Eau Claire, Wis. SCSU claimed one title with two in the top three, and six total placers.

At 165, Colton Bornholdt was the lone Husky to take a title. He received a first-round bye and then came away with two decisions to advance to the semifinals. He would punch his ticket to the finals with a 18-4 major decision against Cole Dummer of Augsburg. In the finals, Bornholdt came away with a 10-4 decision against Colton Loween of Augsburg behind three takedowns and riding time to take the title.
