Honors and Awards: NCHC Goaltender of the Week (Jan. 19, 2026) … NCHC Rookie of the Week (Oct. 20, 2025)

2025-26 (FRESHMAN): Made 20 starts and appeared in 21 games in net in freshman campaign, posting a 6-12-1 record with a 3.08 goals-against-average and .897 save percentage with two shutouts … Made 30+ saves in six games … Earned his first NCAA victory in net in 3-2 win over Bemidji State (Oct. 10), making 25 saves while allowing one power play and two goals overall … Earned NCHC Rookie of the Week honors after making 21 saves for first career shutout in 4-0 win over Vermont (Oct. 18) … Made 20 saves in 2-1 win over Omaha (Jan. 10) … Posted second shutout of the season with 42 saves in 6-0 win over No. 6 Minnesota Duluth (Jan. 16), earning NCHC Goaltender of the Week honors after performance … Stopped 33 of 35 shots in 4-2 road victory over No. 9 Denver (Jan. 23) … Made season-high 43 saves against No. 10 Minnesota Duluth in NCHC Quarterfinals matchup.

Before SCSU: Played two seasons with the USHL’s Lincoln Stars where he produced a 49-30-2 record with a 2.73 goals-against-average and .907 save percentage in 84 games while helping the Stars advance to the playoffs both seasons … Earned 2024-25 All-USHL First Team honors and was named the USHL Goaltender of the Year after posting a 29-12-1 mark in net with a 2.40 GAA and .911 S% while leading the Stars to an Anderson Cup title and conference finals appearance … Prior to coming stateside, Shostak played in Belarus and in Russia in the MHL.

Personal: Son of Dzminty and Halina Shostak … Has two siblings, a brother Konstantin and a sister Veoleta … His brother Konstantin plays goaltender in the KHL for the Severstal Cherepovets and National Belarus Team … Outside of hockey, enjoys tennis, squash and delicious food.
