2011 Season: Was a starter and played in every match of the 2011 season...opened season with 13 kills and finished the season with a season high 14 kills in match against Northern State...led team with 211 kills and 85 blocks...ranked second in service aces with 16.
2010 Season: Voted the team’s Most Improved Player after an incredible red-shirt freshman season in 2010…was fourth on the team with 191 kills (.249) from the middle…her .248 hitting percentage was second on the team behind team MVP, Kayla Tschida (.276)…was a defensive force in the front line, blocking 88 balls (11s, 77a), which was second-best on the Husky squad…totaled 27 digs and six setting assists…had six double-digit matches in the kills category…amassed first double-digit kills match in her collegiate debut on Sept. 3 with 13 kills against Michigan Tech, hitting an impressive .455 in the win…Dietzen matched her career-high of 13 kills for a second time this season against Mesa State College on Sept. 10…in that match she hit even better at .458… posted a career-high nine blocks (9a) at Augustana College on Oct. 29.
2009 Season: Did not appear in a match for the Huskies. Took a red-shirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Seymour Community High School where she was coached by Laura Trautmann in volleyball…lettered three times in volleyball, earning Most Improved Player, Most Valuable Player and Best Defensive Player accolades…the middle hitter also garnered All-Bay Conference First and Second Team nods during her prep tenure after leading the league in blocks and kills for two seasons…led her squad to a conference championship as a team captain and landed herself on the All-Area team and the Wisconsin All-Star squad…also participated in basketball, softball and hockey…charted one letter in basketball and two letters in softball…was her team’s MVP two seasons…a team captain, was named the All-Area Utility Player…as a pitcher was named to the All-Conference Second Team and All-Area Honorable Mention squad…in hockey, played for the Wisconsin Wild…landed on the Central District Team two season and won the state tournament three years.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Bruce and Karen Dietzen of Black Creek, Wis. …says her parents have had the greatest influence on her career…a WIAA Scholar Female Athlete…MWEHL Academic award winner…was the Lion’s Club Female Athlete of the Year nominee…enjoys coaching youth sports.
