2012: Second season with the Huskies…appeared in 9 sets and 8 matches as an outside hitter…had one kill against Minnesota State (9/7/12) on just nine total attempts on the season.
2011: First season with the Huskies...played in 12 matches and started two...had a season high seven kills in her first collegiate match against Fort Lewis on Sept. 2...had a season high five digs in same match.
HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Jen Pfannerstill, Doughty was twice named the Great Northern Conference Player of the Year. A three-time All-State Honorable Mention award winner and All-Great Northern Conference player, Doughty helped lead her Hatchets squad to the Wisconsin State Tournament in 2009 and 2010. For her efforts, the team captain landed on the All-State Tournament squad both of those seasons.
PERSONAL:Â A standout athlete at Tomahawk High School, Doughty lettered once in basketball and earned All-Conference Honorable Mention accolades. She has also charted three varsity letters in softball. The four-time academic honor roll student-athlete is the daughter of Donovan and Sonja Doughty. Kaitlin enjoys quilting, water sports and painting in her free time and she plays club volleyball for a local club in Tomahak.
