2013-14 (Freshman): Played in 28 games... Recorded three goals, three assists, 27 shots and 13 blocks on the season...-10 plus/minus...4/8 PIM...Scored her first collegiate goal against Minnesota on Nov. 8...Scored her second goal on the power play against RPI on Nov. 29 ... Tallied a season high two assists at Minnesota State on Feb. 7.
Before SCSU: Pena was a two-sport athlete in hockey and soccer...In 2012-13, Pena played for Okanagan Hockey Academy, totaling 13 goals and 15 assists in 45 games...Received the MVP award her senior soccer season...She also played for GEUSC Metro Soccer for four years.
Personal: An honor roll student in high school, Pena intends to major in business management at St. Cloud State. Payge is the daughter of Steve and Shonia Pena.
