The goal was Dowd's second of the weekend and proved to be the game winner for the Huskies.
In the second period, sophomore defender Andrew Prochno (Minnetonka) pushed the lead to 2-0 with his second goal of the season at 3:42. Senior forward Ben Hanowski (Little Falls) set the stage with a slick pass to the open Prochno. The second assist on the play was provided by senior forward Drew LeBlanc (Hermantown).
