Huskies Make Move, Finish Second at Saint John's Fall Golf Invite

Sartell, Minn. -- The St. Cloud State University men's golf team fired a second day team score of 292 to move up two spots and finish in second place at the Saint John's University Fall Invite played at Blackberry Ridge Golf Club in Sartell today.
The Huskies were in fourth place after posting a 307 yesterday and made the move in today's round. Nebraska Wesleyan University won the team title with a score of 301-294-595. The Huskies two day total was just four strokes behind the champions at 599.
First-year golfer Jack Pexa (New Prague) led the Huskies as he finished in second place overall with an even par score of 74-70-144. His finished marked his second runner-up finish is his first two collegiate competitions.
Junior Tyler Koivisto (Cokato) tied for fourth place at four-over-par 74-73-147 and sophomore Matt Bible (Pleasant Prairie, Wis.) also had a top ten finish with a seven over par score of 77-74-151 for a tenth place tie.
