Men's Basketball to host MSU Moorhead and Northern State in NSIC action

St. Cloud, Minn. -- The St. Cloud State men's basketball team will host a pair of NSIC games this weekend when #14 MSU Moorhead and Northern State come to town. The Huskies will take on MSU Moorhead Friday, Dec. 12 at 8 p.m. Northern State and the Huskies will tip off at 6 p.m. on Saturday in Halenbeck Hall.
With the holidays upon us, the is a Weekend for Giving at St. Cloud State basketball. The Huskies Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be sponsoring a Giving Tree at all four basketball games. Look for the Giving Tree at the games and Huskies student-athletes will assist fans in choosing an ornament with a child's age and gender. Givers are instructed to purchase a gift and bring it to the Athletics Office the following week. All gifts will be donated to Catholic Charities.
A Teddy Bear Toss will be held at halftime of the men's basketball game on Saturday, Dec. 13. Sponsored by Riddle's Jewelry and Country Inn and Suites, fans are asked to purchase a Teddy Bear and bring it to the game. At half-time the Teddy Bears will be tossed on the court and collected by the Huskies for a special delivery by Gold Cross Ambulance on Dec. 15th to Toys for Tots.
The Huskies men's and women's basketball doubleheaders this weekend will be televised in HD (high definition). St. Cloud State mass communications students will work all aspects of the production. The games will air live on Charter Cable channels 823/426.

Fans can listen to the Huskies this year on KNSI Radio 1450 AM/103.3 FM. Barry Hein will call the games, both home and away for the Huskies.
