Allendale, Mich. -- The St. Cloud State women's golf team improved its team score by 19 strokes and moved up five places in the team standings to finish in 14th place at the NCAA Division II National Preview hosted by Grand Valley State University and played at the Meadows Golf Course.

The Huskies posted a team score of 333 on the final day of the prestigious event. St. Cloud State finished with a two day total 352-333 for a 685. Florida Tech and Grand Valley State tied for first place in the 26 team event with scores of 626.

- Laurel Enstrom led the Huskies. She shot 80-80 for a 160 and tied for 19th place on the individual leaderboard.
- Madison Tenney improved her score by five strokes to finish 89-84 for a 173.
- Katie Kruchten posted a five stroke improvement posting 90-85 for a 175
- Brooke Taylor showed the biggest improvement knocking nine strokes off her first day score to finish 93-84 for a 177.
- The Huskies will finish the fall portion of the 2014-15 schedule at the NSIC Fall Championships, Oct. 3-5 at The Classic Golf Club in Brainerd
