SCSU women's golf places fourth at Bearcat Golf Invite on Oct. 14-15

The St. Cloud State University women's golf team completed the fall portion of its 2019-20 season with a fourth place finish at the 2019 Bearcat Golf Invite, which was held at the Mozingo Lake Golf Course in Maryville, Mo. on Oct. 14-15. The tournament was hosted by Northwest Missouri University.
The Huskies tallied a two-day total of 724 (351-373), while host Northwest Missouri won the meet with a score of 647. Iowa Western (688) and Minnesota State Moorhead (720) completed the top three spots and Southwest Baptist was fifth at 755.
Individually, SCSU's Morgan Hetletved paced the Huskies with a top 10 finish at the tourney. She placed eighth with a score of 173 (82-91). Olivia Peterson placed 10th for SCSU with a score of 175 (89-86) and Kailey Godfrey placed 16th at 183 (86-97). Alexa Owen (25th/195) and Madi Eurich (29th) finished SCSU's scoring team. Other SCSU golfers at the tourney included Carissa Kunst (21st place at 189), Shealyn McCoy (23rd at 193) and Gretchen Greeder (26th at 199).
