Huskies in 5th place after first day at Ramada Mustang Invite

The St. Cloud State University women's golf team owned a share of fifth place on the team leaderboard after the first day of play at the Ramada Mustang Invite in Marshall, Minn. on Sept. 21.
The Huskies posted a first round score of 329 along with Chardron State. Augustana led the field with a score of 302, while Minnesota State (311), Minot State (323) and Winona State (325) completed the top four spots.
Individually, SCSU was led by Morgan Hetletved and Olivia Peterson with 12th place scores of 79. Teammate Madi Eurich added a score of 85 (45th) while Alexa Owen and Carissa Kunst (48th) each had scores of 86. Shealyn McCoy (87), Gretchen Greeder (90) and Kailey Godfrey (92) completed SCSU's field at SMSU.
The final round of the tournament will finish on Sunday, Sept. 22 in Marshall, Minn.
