Huskies hockey rallies from two down in 3-2 win over Quinnipiac

St. Cloud, Minn. – Freshman wing Judd Peterson (Duluth, Minn.) scored the game winning goal and only the second goal of his young career at 1:41 of the third period to give St. Cloud State a 3-2 non-conference win over #14 Quinnipiac University Friday night at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
St. Cloud State is 7-9-1 overall and Quinnipiac is 12-6-1 with the final game of the series scheduled for 7:07 Saturday night.
The Huskies scored three unanswered goals after Quinnipiac went up 2-0 on the home team. The Bobcats Matthew Peca scored at the 18:22 mark of the first period and Justin Agosta at 8:19 of the second period to give Quinnipiac the lead.
At 10:48 of the second period, the Huskies lit the lamp on a goal by David Morley with assists from Jonny Brodzinski and Jimmy Murray. It was Morley's third goal of the season.
Daniel Tedesco scored his first goal of the season at 14:06 of the second period to tie the game at 2-2. Nick Oliver and Tim Daly provided the assists.
With the help of Niklas Nevalainen and Blake Winiecki, Judd Peterson scored the game winner early in the third period.
The Huskies outshot Quinnipiac 37-28, including 17-10 in the second period.
Charlie Lindgren, in goal for the Huskies, made 26 saves.
Quinnipiac's Justin Agosta finished the night with a goal and an assist.
