Marshall, Minn. – St. Cloud State men's basketball posted a 76-55 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) win at Southwest Minnesota State Friday night in Marshall.

Junior guard Jordan Poydras (Los Angeles, Calif.) scored his 1,000 career point in the game to become the 38th Husky to reach the milestone. Poydras scored 12 points, handed out seven assists and pulled down five rebounds and now has 1,006 career points.
St. Cloud State improved to 12-9 overall and 8-7 in the NSIC. Southwest dropped to 9-12 overall and 5-10 in league play. The Huskies will play at the University of Sioux Falls Saturday evening at 6 p.m. The Cougars lost to Minnesota Duluth, 74-70 on Friday.
St. Cloud State sophomore guard Scottie Stone (Melrose, Minn.) led the Huskies in scoring with 15 points, made six of ten field goal attempts and had three three-point baskets.
The Huskies took an 11-10 lead six minutes into the first half and never gave it up, taking a 30-21 lead into halftime. St. Cloud State maintained a double digit lead throughout the second half.
