SCSU Volleyball Falls to #5 Southwest Minnesota State, 0-3

Sioux Falls, S.D. – The St. Cloud State University volleyball team took on the No. 5 ranked Mustangs of Southwest Minnesota State this afternoon. The Huskies fell in three straight sets to the Mustangs with scores of 12-25, 15-25, and 11-25.
St. Cloud State falls to 8-9 overall and 4-5 in the conference. Southwest Minnesota State improves to 14-3 overall and 7-2 in the NSIC.
Sophie Jaskulske (Maplewood, Minn.) led the Huskies with eight kills.
Macy Weller (Sauk Centre, Minn.) and Rachel Burke (Madison, Wis.) tallied five kills.
Allison Butler (Burnsville, Minn.) finished with 19 assists and 9 digs.
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) recorded 13 digs.
Abbey Thissen led the Mustangs with 15 kills.
St. Cloud State will return to action next weekend as they host #10 Wayne State and #20 Augustana in Halenbeck Hall. Wayne State is currently 14-3 overall and 7-2 in the NSIC. Augustana is 13-4 overall and 6-3 in the conference.
