St. Cloud, Minn. – The St. Cloud State University volleyball team matched up against #9 Wayne State College this evening in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) action. The Wildcats came out on top tonight as they took down St. Cloud State in three straight sets with scores of 18-25, 20-25, and 18-25.

St. Cloud State falls to 8-10 overall and 4-6 in the NSIC. Wayne State improves to 16-3 overall and 8-2 in the conference.

The Huskies posted a .150 attack percentage throughout the match, compared to Wayne State's .203 attack percentage.

Sophie Jaskulske (Maplewood, Minn.) led the Huskies with nine kills.

Allison Butler (Burnsville, Minn.) posted a double-double with 26 assists and 13 digs.

Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) led the Huskies defensively, collecting 23 digs.

Katie Hughes led all players with 17 kills for Wayne State.

St. Cloud State will return to action tomorrow afternoon as they host #20 Augustana at 4 p.m. in Halenbeck Hall. Augustana enters the match-up with a 13-7 overall record and a 6-4 mark in the NSIC. The Vikings fell to Minnesota Duluth this evening, 1-3.
