SCSU Volleyball Sweeps Minot State, 3-0

St. Cloud, Minn. - The St. Cloud State University volleyball team hosted Minot State University in NSIC play this evening. The Huskies swept the Beavers in three straight sets with final scores of 25-20, 25-15, and 25-22.

St. Cloud State improves to 6-8 overall and 2-4 in the NSIC. Minot State falls to 3-10 overall and 0-6 in conference action.

Two St. Cloud State players finished with double-digit kill totals. Rachel Burke (Madison, Wis.) led all players with 15 kills, averaging a .464 attack percentage.Â

Sophie Jaskulske (Maplewood, Minn.) finished with 10 kills for the Huskies, averaging a .389 attack percentage.Â

Allison Butler (Burnsville, Minn.) tallied 39 assists, seven digs, and one service ace.
Â
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) recorded a team-high 19 digs.

Freshmen Sydney Stone (Spicer, Minn.) and Micah Nier (Hatley, Wis.) saw the court tonight. Stone recorded one service ace and Nier tallied two blocks.
Mallory Sall led the Beavers with nine kills.

St. Cloud State will return to action tomorrow afternoon as they take on the University of Mary. The Marauders hold a 8-7 overall record and stand at 3-3 in the conference. U-Mary fell to Minnesota Duluth this evening in three straight matches.Â
