SCSU Volleyball Travels to #4 Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State

St. Cloud, Minn. – The St. Cloud State University volleyball team will travel to St. Paul, Minn. and Mankato, Minn. this weekend. The Huskies will take on the No. 4 Golden Bears of Concordia-St. Paul at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23 and the Mavericks of Minnesota State on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 4 p.m.

St. Cloud State

The Huskies enter the weekend match-ups 8-12 overall and 4-8 in the NSIC.
St. Cloud State is coming off a loss from Minnesota Duluth (0-3).
Allison Butler (Burnsville, Minn.) ranks 11^th in the NSIC in assists with 524, averaging 7.38 assists per set.
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) is number two in the conference in digs. Stamer has 383 digs on the season, averaging 5.39 digs per set.
Kellan Flynn (Tomahawk, Wis.) holds the 12^th spot in the NSIC in blocks. Flynn has totaled 61 on the season, averaging .87 blocks per set.

Concordia-St. Paul

The #4 ranked Golden Bears hold a 16-4 overall record and are 10-2 in the conference.
CSP is coming off a win over Minnesota State (3-0).
Offensively, Anna Schlaak leads the Golden Bears with 256 kills on the season.
Heather Schiller leads the conference in blocks with 95, averaging 1.32 blocks per set.

Minnesota State University

The Mavericks enter the weekend match-ups with a 12-8 overall record and a 6-6 mark in the NSIC.
Mankato is coming off a loss against #4 ranked Concordia-St. Paul (0-3).
Krista Hassing leads the Mavericks with 308 kills, averaging 4.28 kills per set. Hassing sits second in the NSIC in kills.
Haley Fogarty ranks third in the conference in digs with 354 on the season.
