SCSU Volleyball Drops to Minnesota State, 0-3

St. Paul, Minn. – The St. Cloud State University volleyball traveled to Mankato, Minn. this afternoon to take on the Mavericks of Minnesota State. The Huskies fell to the Mavericks in three straight sets with scores of 23-25, 17-25, and 20-25.
St. Cloud State falls to 8-14 overall and 4-10 in the conference. Minnesota State improves to 14-8 overall and 8-6 in the NSIC.
The Huskies finished with a .117 attack percentage overall compared to Minnesota State's .292.
Rachel Burke (Madison, Wis.). led the Huskies with 12 kills.
Allison Butler (Burnsville, Minn.) tallied 31 assists and two kills.
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) and Shannon Klink (Hartford, Wis.) recorded 14 digs.
Nevena Vukomanovich led Minnesota State with 12 kills.
St. Cloud State will return to action next weekend as they host Upper Iowa University and No. 25 Winona State University. Upper Iowa is currently 13-10 overall and 7-7 in the NSIC. No. 25 Winona State currently stands at 14-7 overall and 8-6 in the NSIC.
