St. Cloud, Minn. – The St. Cloud State University volleyball team took on #24 ranked Winona State this afternoon in Halenbeck Hall. The Huskies fell to the Warriors in three straight sets with scores of 25-20, 25-14, and 25-11.
St. Cloud State falls to 8-16 overall and 4-12 in the conference. Winona State improves to 15-8 overall and 9-7 in the NSIC.
Kellan Flynn (Tomahawk, Wis.) led the Huskies with six kills.
Allison Bulter (Burnsville, Minn.) finished with 10 assists and two kills.
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) tallied 20 digs for St. Cloud State.
Taylor Goar and Maria Fruechte led the Warriors with eight kills.
St. Cloud State will return to action next weekend as they travel to Bismarck, N.D. and Minot, N.D. The Huskies will take on the University of Mary on Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. and Minot State on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 3 p.m.
