St. Cloud State volleyball falls at U-Mary, 3-2

Bismarck, N.D. - The St. Cloud State University volleyball team (8-17, 4-13 NSIC) suffered a tough 18-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-19, 15-8 loss at the University of Mary (11-15, 6-11 NSIC) on Friday, Nov. 6 in Bismarck, N.D.
The Huskies were led in the contest by Macy Weller with 18 kills, while teammates Kellan Flynn had 12 kills and Rachel Burke had 10 kills. Â Marissa Kline led SCSU with 27 assists in the game and Shannon Klink had 23 digs to pace the Huskies. Â Briane Stamer added 22 digs in the game, which moved her career total to 1,863 digs. Â She is closing in on the team record for career digs that was set by Andrea Pieper with 1885 from 2005-08.
Mary was led by Alexis Jacobs with 21 kills, Katelyn Olson with 55 assists and Alex Borwn with 26 digs.
The Huskies will complete their North Dakota road trip on Saturday, Nov. 7 with a NSIC match at Minot State University in Minot, N.D. at 3 p.m.
