SCSU Volleyball Drops to #3 Northern State, 3-0

St. Cloud, Minn. – The St. Cloud State University volleyball team hosted #3 Northern State in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) match-up this evening. The Wolves defeated St. Cloud State in three straight sets with scores of 20-25, 13-25, and 18-25.
St. Cloud State falls to 9-18 overall and 5-14 in the conference. Northern State improves to 25-2 overall and 17-2 in the NSIC.
Shannon Klink (Hartford, Wis.) led the Huskies with 12 kills and 12 digs.
Kellan Flynn (Tomahawk, Wis.) finished with 10 kills and a .421 attack percentage.
Marissa Kline (Luxemburg, Wis.) led the Huskies with 21 assists.
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) added nine digs.
Northern State was led by Cari McGarvie with 14 kills. Drew Smith tallied 37 assists for the Wolves.
St. Cloud State will return to action tomorrow afternoon as they take on MSU Moorhead in Halenbeck Hall at 4 p.m. The Dragons enter the match-up 15-11 overall and 8-10 in the conference. MSUM defeated Bemidji State in three sets this evening.
