The  St. Cloud State University Women's Hockey Team (3-7-1, 2-7-1 WCHA) are set to host the Ohio State Buckeyes (5-7-0, 3-7-0 WCHA) on Nov. 20-21. Â
Game time on Friday Nov. 20Â is scheduled for 3:07 p.m. and the game on Nov. 21Â will begin at 1:37 p.m. in the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center at St. Cloud State University. Â Tickets for both of these games are available at the gate.
As a special promotion throughout the 2015-16 season, all youth (grades 12 and under) will be admitted FREE to all regular season SCSU women's hockey games this winter. Â SCSU students with a valid SCSU student ID card will also be admitted to all regular season St. Cloud State women's hockey home games in 2015-16. Â Just show you ID card at the gate and you get in FREE...it's that simple!Â
#2 Julia TylkeFreshman forward, Julia Tylke, won WCHA rookie of the week after her offensive performance in the Minnesota State series sweep. She scored SCSU's first and fourth goals on Friday night in a 4-1, series-opening victory. On Saturday, the Huskies scored three times in the first period en route to a 4-2 win, and Tylke chipped in with an assist on the opening goal before scoring the third herself. She finished the weekend with six shots on goal and a +3 rating.
Kelsey Saelens, a junior forward, scored her first goal of the season and game-winning goal in game one against the Mavericks.Â
Molly Illikainen has scored 7 goals so far this season, 6 of which have come in the first five minutes of a period. The lone seventh goal came in the last five minutes of a period.
Five Huskies posted two or more points in the MSU series. Illikainen scored 3 goals and 2 assists, while Tylke posted 3 goals and 1 assist. Payge Pena, Lexi Slattery and Brittney Anderson all tallied 2 assists in the series.Â
The sweep against Mankato marks the first sweep the Huskies have seen at home since the 2011-12 season.
Katie Fitzgerald gained two wins between the pipes which moves her season record to 2-7-1 in the WCHA
There has been a time change to Saturday afternoon's games against Ohio State. Originally scheduled for 3:07 pm the game has been changed to 1:37 pm.  The all time record against Ohio State is 16-16-7, 9-9-3 being the at home record. Â
