ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Hockey released its complete schedule for the 2026-27 season on Wednesday, adding three series with nonconference opponents to its schedule. Among the three teams added to the schedule, two are return opponents from last season in UConn and Colgate and one hasn't been played in 10 years in Vermont (2016-17).
2026-27 SCHEDULE (WEB)
The Huskies will open the season with a home series against UConn (Sept. 25-26) that will be played at Torrey Arena in the Municipal Athletic Complex (MAC) in northwest St. Cloud due to the ongoing $12.9 million construction project at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center (HBNHC). UConn's trip to St. Cloud will complete a home-and-home series between the two programs after SCSU traveled to Storrs, Connecticut last September for a series at the state-of-the-art Toscano Family Ice Forum. SCSU is 3-5 all time against UConn and split last year's road series with a pair of 2-1 games.
Following the opening weekend, SCSU heads on a three-week road trip that begins in Mankato when the Huskies open their Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) schedule against Minnesota State. The following weekend, SCSU makes its first trip to the east coast of the season to play Colgate (Oct. 9-10) at the Class of 1965 Arena in Hamilton, New York before returning to Minnesota for a road series in St. Paul against St. Thomas (Oct. 16-17).
