SCSU Volleyball Drops to #1 Minnesota Duluth

Duluth, Minn. – The St. Cloud State University volleyball team travel to Duluth, Minn. this evening to take on the Bulldogs of UMD. The Huskies fell to the #1 ranked Bulldogs in three straight sets, with final scores of 14-25, 16-25 and 13-25.
St. Cloud State falls to 5-6 overall and 1-2 in the NSIC. The University of Minnesota Duluth improves to 10-1 overall and 3-0 in the conference.
Sophie Jaskulske (Maplewood, Minn.) led the Huskies with 13 kills, averaging a .462 attack percentage.
Allison Butler (Burnsville, Minn.) tallied 15 assists. Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) recorded a team-high 15 digs for St. Cloud State.
Minnesota Duluth's Mariah Scharf led all players with 17 kills.
St. Cloud State will return to action this weekend as they travel to Moorhead, Minn. and Aberdeen, SD to compete against Minnesota Moorhead and Northern State. The Huskies will take on the Dragons on Friday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. and the Wolves on Saturday at 4 p.m.
