SCSU Volleyball Drops to #19 Northern State

St. Cloud, Minn. – The St. Cloud State University volleyball team was defeated by Northern State University this evening in their fifth conference match-up of the season. The Huskies lost in three straight sets with final scores of 10-25, 17-25, and 16-25.
St. Cloud State falls to 5-8 overall and 1-4 in the NSIC. Northern State improves to 13-0 overall and 5-0 in the conference.
Sophie Jaskulske (Maplewood, Minn.) led St. Cloud State with seven kills.
Allison Butler (Burnsville, Minn.) finished with 20 assists.
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) tallied 13 digs.
Kelsey Chambers led Northern State with 14 kills.
The Huskies return to action Friday, Oct. 2 as they take on Minot State at 7 p.m. in Halenbeck Hall. Minot State is currently 3-9 overall and 0-5 in the NSIC.
