St. Cloud, Minn. --- The Huskies return to the HBNHC after a weekend split against #8/9 North Dakota to host their final series of conference play on Feb. 19-20 against Minnesota Duluth. The Huskies will celebrate seniors Molly Illikainen, Katie Fitzgerald, Lexi Slattery, Vanessa Spataro and Hanna Brodt in a ceremony on Saturday to recognize their four years in the Cardinal red and black.Â
Tickets for both of these games are available at the gate. As a special promotion throughout the 2015-16 season, all youth (grades 12 and under) will be admitted FREE to all regular season SCSU women's hockey games this winter.  SCSU students with a valid SCSU student ID card will also be admitted to all regular season St. Cloud State women's hockey home games in 2015-16.  Just show you ID card at the gate and you get in FREE...it's that simple!Â
Molly IllikainenBrittney Anderson, a defensemen from Hudson, Wis. has stepped into and offensive role in her sophomore season. The powerhouse D recorded four points in her inaugural season with the Huskies and so far this season has three goals and 14 assists for 17 total points.
Lexi Slattery has played an important role with SCSU in her final season. She is the second scoring defensemen, following Anderson, and has tallied three goals and 11 assists for 15 total points. Her assists have come in handy this season, as she has tallied four of her 11 assists on game winning goals.
Molly Illikainen is 15th in the WCHA in scoring with 16 goals, 13 assists for 29 points this season. Illikainen enters her final regular season series with the Huskies with 96 career points, which is a number that has not been matched for the Huskies since the 2009-10 season.
In her first season with St. Cloud, Julia Tylke has been a tremendous asset to the team. She has contributed offensively in 10 of 11 wins this season, having more than 1 point in 6 games. She follows Illikainen in points having 8 goals and 12 assists for 20 total points.Â
Senior goaltender, Katie Fitzgerald, has been the backbone of the Huskies all season long. In the game on Feb. 12 against UND she nabbed a 39 shot shut-out to take their second victory over the Fighting Hawks this season. She has made 867 saves on 953 shots this year and has a .910 save percentage with a 2.88 GAA. She has played in all WCHA games for the Huskies and has a record of 11-15-4.
The Huskies penalty kill has become a strong point of their game this season being 61 for 81 on the season and .753. In conference play alone they have killed 53 for 66 and are .803.
