Women’s Golf Finishes 21st at Central Regional Spring Preview

Springfield, Mo. – The St. Cloud State women's golf program placed 21st overall among the teams at the Central Regional Spring Preview Tournament hosted by Central Missouri University in Springfield, Missouri on the Rivercut Golf Course. The Huskies posted a two-round total of 704 (361-343) in the tournament. Northeastern State won the tournament with a score of 615 (309-306).
Marren Pfannenstein was the top finisher for the Huskies on Tuesday, firing a final round of 83, 11-over par, to finish at 27-over for the tournament. She ended up finishing tied for 77th in the tournament.
Laurel Enstrom shot a final round 84 and finished 34-over par and tied for 92nd. Samantha Lindeen shot a final round of 88 to also finish at 34-over par and also be tied at 92nd. Kendall Niehaus had a final round score of 88 and a 35-over for the tournament to tie for 97th place. Ashlee Eggebraaten had a 92 in the final round and a 41-over par for the tournament to finish in 101st-place.
Ebba Moberg of Northeastern State won the individual title at one-over and helped the RiverHawks to the team title, finishing 39-over par.
The SCSU women's golf program are next in action at the Mankato Open from April 14-15 at the Bunker Hill Golf Course in Coon Rapids, Minn.
