SCSU women's golf places 3rd at MSU Mankato Invitational

The St. Cloud State women's golf team warmed up for the upcoming NSICÂ tournament by posting a third place finish at the Minnesota State Mankato Invitational on April 14-15. Â The tournament was held at the Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids, Minn.
The Huskies placed third at 658, while host Minnesota State Mankato was first at 624 and Concordia St. Paul was second at 643.  The complete team standings along are listed below.
Individually, SCSU was led by Marren Pfannenstein with a fourth place finish of 158 (81-77).  Haley Tollette of Minnesota State Mankato was the medalist with a winning score of 153 (80-73).  SCSU's Laurel Enstrom placed 13th overall at 164 (84-80) and teammate Morgan Williams was 15th at 166 (78-88).  SCSU's group was rounded out by Samantha Lindeen with a 21st place finish of 170 (87-83), Ashlee Eggebraaten with a 29th place score of 177 (92-85), Kendall Niehaus with a 30th place tally of 178 (88-90) and Madison Tenney with a 33rd place score of 181 (87-94).
The Huskies will continue their season on April 21-23 with an appearance at the 2016-17 NSIC Championships, which will be held in Morton, Minn.
