SCSU women's golf to compete at NSIC Spring Championships on April 21-23

St. Cloud State University will participate in the 2017 NSIC Women's Golf Championship, which will take place on April 21-23 at Dacotah Ridge in Morton, Minnesota. The 54-hole championship will be played on the 5906 yard, 72-par course.  Both Friday and Saturday's rounds will begin with tee times beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday's final round will be a 9 a.m. shotgun start.

The Huskies are led this season by Laurel Enstrom (Rock Island, Ill.) with a scoring average of 80.7.  Teammate Marren Pfannenstein (St. Cloud/Tech H.S.) ranks second this season with a average of 83.6 and Morgan Williams (Bemidji) owns an 84.1 average in 2016-17.  As a team, the Huskies are averaging 334.3 and most recently placed third at the Minnesota State Invitational on April 15-16.
The entire field for the NCAA Women's Golf Championships will be announced Monday, May 1 on NCAA.com. The NCAA Central Super Regional will be played at Minnehaha Country Club in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, hosted by Augustana University on May 8-10. The NCAA Championships will be held May 17-20 at Findlay Country Club; Findlay, Ohio
