St. Cloud State University swim and dive teams to battle DI teams at USD Quad

The St. Cloud State University men's and women's swim and dive teams will travel to the University of South Dakota Quad Duals on Nov 1-2. The meet will be held at the Midco Aquatic Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. The action on Nov. 1 is slated to start at 6:00 p.m. and the meet on Nov. 2 is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. SCSU will be the only non-NCAA DIvision I team at the Quad Duals, which will also feature teams from South Dakota, South Dakota State, Northern Iowa and Western Illinois.
Admission for spectators will be $10 for adults and $5 youth per session. Warm-ups on Nov 1 will begin at 4:00 p.m. with competition getting underway at 6 p.m., and on Nov. 2, the warm-ups will start at 8:00 a.m. with competition starting at 10:00 a.m. The 1M and 3M diving events will take place on both days of the competition.
The Quad Duals meet will feature teams from NCAA DI rivals University of South Dakota, University of Northern Iowa, South Dakota State University and Western Illinois University.

TEAM NEWS AND NOTES:
- In this week's collegeswimming.com men's DII dual meet poll, the Huskies men's team was ranked #20 in the nation and the women's team was ranked #17. In the latest CSCAA DII poll, SCSU women's team gained a #20 ranking.
- Madison Brinkman won her second consecutive NSIC Diver of the Week award on Oct. 29. She won both events with pool record setting totals at the Cows, Colleges and Contentment Classic in Northfield, Minn. on Oct. 26.
- Of note, SCSU women divers Brinkman (1M & 3M), Alyssa Doherty (1M & 3M), Rebekah Stone (1M & 3M) and Meredith Matchinsky (1M) have all hit NCAA qualifying marks with their performances at the Carleton meet.
- The SCSU women's 400 free relay ranks 10th in the nation with a best time of 3:34.27 and the men's 400 free relay ranks 13th in the nation at 3:09.27.
