St. Cloud State swim and dive to compete at UST's Andregg Invite on Nov. 15-16

The St. Cloud State University men's and women's swim and dive teams will compete at the University of St. Thomas Andregg Invite on Nov. 15-16 in St. Paul, Minn. The first day of competition begins at 6 p.m. on Nov. 15, and the events open at 9 a.m. on Nov. 16.

- The Huskies were ranked #16 in the latest CSCAA/TYR Top 25 Women's Division II November poll. SCSU moved up to 16th after being ranked #20 in the previous CSCAA/TYR poll. The SCSU men's team received votes in this month's CSCAA/TYR Top 25 Men's Division II poll.
- Last weekend, the Huskies scored a 230-70 win at UW-Eau Claire for the women and a 154-144 win vs. UWEC for the men's team.
- Rebekah Stone was named the NSIC Diver of the Week for her performances with the Huskies at the dual meet against UW-Eau Claire last weekend. Stone placed first in the 1M diving and also placed third in the 3M diving event. Both of her scores hit NCAA qualifying marks for the upcoming NCAA championships in Geneva, Ohio. This marked the fourth consecutive week that the Huskies have earned the NSIC Diver of the Week award. The first three weeks of the season, the award was presented to SCSU's Madison Brinkman.
- In this week's collegeswimming.com DII dual team rankings, SCSU women rank 17th and the men's team ranks 22nd.
- Alyssa Doherty is the top ranked diver in the collegeswimming.com DII 3M diving rankings this week with a top score of 277.45 this season. Teammate Madison Brinkman ranks second in the poll with a top 3M score of 274.35, Stone ranks fourth with a score of 266.15 and Meredith Matchinsky ranks eighth at 235.50.
- In the collegeswimming.com women's DII 1M diving rankings, Stone ranks sixth at 267.35 and Brinkman is ninth at 255.70.
- SCSU's Evan Infante ranked fourth in the latest collegeswimming.com 3M dive standings with a score of 267.65 and he was 11th in the 1M standings at 221.80.
- In the men's 50 free rankings this winter, SCSU's Abe Townley is ranked eighth with a top time of 20.70 (an NCAA DII B Cut time).
- SCSU's 400 women's free relay team is ranked 13th in the nation at 3:34.27 and the Huskies' women's 200 medley relay team was ranked 16th at 1:47.56.
- SCSU's next meet will be a trip to the annual Rochester Invite in Rochester, Minn. on Dec. 6-8.
