The St. Cloud State men's hockey team (2-6-4, 0-4-0 NCHC) will continue its 2019-20 season with a pair of road games at Miami University on Dec. 6 and Dec. 7. The game time on Dec. 6 is slated for 6:05 p.m. CT and the game time on Dec. 7 is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. CT. Both games will be played at the Goggins Ice Center in Oxford, Ohio. This marks the first games of the season against Miami. SCSU and Miami will complete their NCHC regular season games on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 with games in St. Cloud, Minn.

 2020 FROZEN FACEOFF TICKETS: All session tickets for the 2020 NCHC Frozen Faceoff go on sale to the public on Friday, Nov. 8. The 2020 Frozen Faceoff will take place on March 20-21 at the Xcel Energy Center in downtown St. Paul, Minn. All-session ticket packages start at $60 and can be purchased at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office or online at ticketmaster.com beginning on Friday, Nov. 8 at Noon. Any fan who purchases a 2020 NCHC Frozen Faceoff all-session ticket package by Dec. 31, 2018 is eligible to win access to a special NCHC Chalk Talk and VIP Brunch on March 21. Visit NCHCHockey.com for details.
NCHC CHAMPS:  The Huskies claimed the 2018-19 NCHC championship with a 5-0 win at Omaha on Feb. 23. This marks the third time the Huskies have won the Penrose Cup, which is the most of any team in the NCHC. SCSU also won the NCHC regular season title in 2014, 2018 and 2019.
 OVERTIME AT UND:  The Huskies lost a close 2-1 match at #3 North Dakota on Nov. 23 in overtime. This marked the first OT loss during the regular season for the Huskies since a 4-3 setback against Denver on Feb. 24, 2017. SCSU has now played in six overtime games this season with a 1-1-4 record in those OT games this season. In the contest at UND, the Huskies' lone goal was posted by Jack Ahcan with assists from Sam Hentges and Easton Brodzinski...on Nov. 22, the Huskies opened their road trip at North Dakota with a 4-2 loss. SCSU goals in the game were posted by Luke Jaycox (assists from Micah Miller and Jake Wahlin) and Nick Poehling (assists from Hentges and Ahcan).
 FIRST GOAL OF 2019-20:  Luke Jaycox scored his first goal of 2019-20 in the game at UND on Nov. 22. In three seasons at SCSU, Jaycox now has four goals and 10 points during his career with the Huskies.
 TOP 4: Sam Hentges ranks fourth in the nation with an average of 1.50 points per game this year. A Minnesota Wild draft pick, Hentges leads SCSU with six goals and 12 assists this winter for a total of 18 points. In two seasons with the Huskies, Hentges now has scored 16 goals and 22 assists.
   CLIMBING THE CHARTS:  Jack Ahcan continues to move up in the SCSU scoring charts. He currently has 17 goals and 71 assists for a total of 88 career points. He has three goals and seven assists this season for 10 points, which includes a goal and an assist in the series at UND. He is 12 points away from joining SCSU's 100-point club. He ranks 43rd on the SCSU all-time scoring list with 88 points and he is fifth in the team's records for points by a defenseman. Ahcan just moved ahead of Taj Melson, who had 87 points from 1992-96 and now trails Andrew Prochno, who had 91 points from 2011-15. SCSU's all-time leader on defense is Jimmy Schuldt, who had 118 points from 2015-19.
 POWER PLAY NOTE: Nick Poehling scored his first power play goal in the Huskies' game at North Dakota on Nov. 22. The PPG vs. the Fighting Hawks was Nick Poehling's third goal of the season and his 20th career goal with the Huskies. Nick Poehling leads the Huskies with 36 shots on goal this season.
 MILESTONE GAMES: The next game for Sam Hentges will be his 50th career game at SCSU. Hentges has posted 38 career points, which includes 16 goals and 22 assists as a Husky...Easton Brodzinski's next game will be his 90th game with the Huskies. In the game at UND on Nov. 23, Brodzinski charted his 30th career assist and his seventh assist of the season. Brodzinski has 65 career points with 35 career goals at SCSU.
 WEEKEND OUTLOOK: SCSU is 4-0-1 in the last five games played against Miami and 7-1-2 in the last 10 games played against Miami...SCSU is 2-0-2 in the last four games played at Miami with the last loss for the Huskies at Miami coming on Jan. 7, 2017 with a 4-1 setback in Oxford...SCSU and Miami will play again this season at the HBNHC on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1...last year, SCSU was 4-0-2 in games against Miami...in the first round of the 2019 NCHC playoffs, SCSU scored a 6-3, 5-2 series sweep against the RedHawks in St. Cloud. The Huskies have collected first round wins in the NCHC playoffs against Miami in 2019 and 2018.
 FEELING A DRAFT: There are three NHL draft picks on the Huskies' 2019-20 roster. This list includes Sam Hentges, who was selected by Minnesota in the 2018 draft; Nick Perbix, who was picked by Tampa Bay in the 2018 draft and David Hrenak, who was selected by Los Angeles in the 2019 draft.
 NOTES AND NEWS: Nick Perbix and Luke Jaycox lead the Huskies on defense with 21 blocked shots apiece in 2019-20...The last time SCSU lost four games in a row was Dec. 3-11, 2010 with losses against UND (3-1 & 6-2) and CC (3-0, 5-2). The last time SCSU lost more than four games in a row was a six-game losing skid from Nov. 24-Dec. 14 2007, which included setbacks against Clarkson (3-2), Wisconsin (3-2 & 4--3), Denver (3-2 & 3-2) and CC (3-1).
