SCSU women's golf places fourth at UIU Spring Invite

The St. Cloud State University women's golf team charted a fourth place finish at the 2019 UIU Spring Invite, which was held at the Prairie Links Golf Course in Waverly, Iowa on Mar. 30-31.
The Huskies tallied a two-day score of 690 (354-336) in the eight-team field. Minnesota State won the team title with a score of 640, while Central Missouri was second at 657 and Nebraska Kearney was third at 669.
Morgan Hetletved led the Huskies with a 12th place tally of 168 (88-80), while Marren Pfannenstein was tied for 20th at 173 (85-88). Samantha Lindeen placed 22nd in the tourney with a score of 174 (90-84), Kailey Godfrey was 27th at 177 (91-86) and Carissa Kunst was 32nd at 181 (95-86).
The Huskies will continue their 2018-19 season on April 12-14 with a trip to the NSIC Spring Preview at the Prairie Green G.C. in Sioux Falls, S.D.
