St. Cloud State women's golf opens 2019-20 season at CSB Invite

The St. Cloud State University women's golf team opened its 2019-20 season with an appearance at the 2019 CSB Invite, which was hosted by the College of Saint Benedict at Blackberry Ridge G.C. in nearby Sartell, Minn.
The Huskies placed eighth in the team standings with a team score of 707 (355-352) in the two-day tourney that wrapped up on Sept. 1. Bethel won the team title with a score 630.
SCSU was led by Olivia Peterson, who posted a score of 163 (83-80) and placed 11th overall. Teammate Morgan Hetletved placed 15th with a tally of 164 (81-83) and Madi Eurich was 56th in the tournament with a score of 186 (96-90). Carissa Kunst (63rd) posted a score of 197 and Shealyn McCoy was 103rd at 202.
The Huskies will continue their season on Sept. 6-7 with a trip to the J.R. Watkins Invitational at the Jewell G.C. in Lake City, Minn.
