St. Cloud State's Morgan Hetletved places 16th at Golden Bear Classic

St. Cloud State's Morgan Hetletved led the Huskies at the 2019 Golden Bear Classic with an 16th place finish in the field of 86 golfers. The tournament was held at The Jewell Golf Course in Lake City, Minn. on Sept. 16-17.
Hetletved posted a two-day score of 159 (81-78), which helped the Huskies earn a 10th place team finish at the tourney. SCSU posted a 352 in the first round and charged back with a 330 on the second day to earn a two-day score of 682.
Teammate Olivia Peterson placed 34th in the standings with a score of 165 (83-82) and Kailey Godfrey placed 53rd at 178 (96-82). The Huskies' top five was completed by Madi Eurich (92-88=180/61st) and Alexa Owen (95-90=185/67th).
The Huskies will return to the links on Sept. 21-22 with a trip to the Mustang Invitational, which will be held at the Marshall C.C. in Marshall, Minn.
