Huskies shut out by No. 1 Wisconsin on Friday

St. Cloud State women's hockey (3-8-1, 3-8-1 WCHA) was shut out 10-0 by No. 1 Wisconsin (7-2-0, 7-2-0 WCHA) in Friday's series opener. The Huskies were outshot 49-15 in the game.
Wisconsin scored one goal in the first, five in the second and four in the third.
Klara Hymlarova led the Huskies with four blocks, helping SCSU to a 15-9 advantage in blocked shots. Jenniina Nylund put four shots on goal while Mackenzie Bourgerie added three. Sanni Ahola recorded 27 saves in two periods of play in the loss.
SCSU and Wisconsin conclude their series Saturday afternoon at 2:07 p.m. CST at the HBNHC. The game can be heard on 97.5 RadioX and seen on FloHockey.
