Kenzie Foley named AVCA DII National Player of the Week

Junior outside hitter averaged 3.09 kills and 5.09 digs per set, leading the Huskies to their second-straight NSIC Championship
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State junior outside hitter Kenzie Foley has been named AVCA DII National Player of the Week for the second time this season, earning the nation's top weekly honor on Tuesday morning.
"We talk often about team success leading to individual accolades," said head coach Chad Braegelmann, "This weekend was another good indicator of it – our entire team played extremely well. Kenzie was fantastic on defense in the back row and had some big kills for us as an offensive force. I'm really happy for her!"
Foley averaged 5.09 digs/set to anchor the Huskies' defense in the NSIC Tournament and led a serve receive that was aced just seven times. The Sergeant Bluff, Iowa product put down 3.09 kills/set and provided 3.45 points/set during the tournament.
The national honor is the second of Foley's career, as the junior also earned National Player of the Week on September 13 earlier this season.
