The Huskies headed into the locker with a 41-22 point lead. Luke Taylor and Matthew Willert led the first 20 minutes of play scoring 13 and 12 points respectively.
Back on the court in the second half, the Huskies offense and defense worked together to keep lead over Michigan Tech with a steal from Kevin Cook who found an open Andre Renta who sank a three-pointer to give the Huskies a 22 point lead with 15:33 left in regulation.
