St. Cloud State Men’s Swim & Dive Set for GLIAC Championships

Conference meet will take place Feb. 4-7, hosted by Saginaw Valley State

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The St. Cloud State Men's Swim & Dive team is set to compete in the 2022 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference Championships, set to take place Friday, Feb. 4 – Monday, Feb. 7 at the Gerstacker Regional Aquatic Center in Saginaw, Mich. The Huskies enter the postseason ranked No. 23 in the CSCCA Division II rankings.

A live stream of the meet will be available through Saginaw Valley State's website. Each day is slated to begin at 9:00 a.m. CT, with the finals session scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. CT each day.

This will be the Huskies third year competing in the GLIAC, as they joined the conference as a part-time affiliate in 2018-19. In both 2018-19 and 2019-20, St. Cloud State finished fourth as a team, while Grand Valley State was crowned conference champion both seasons. The Lakers have won the GLIAC Men's Swim and Dive Championships for six consecutive seasons and are nine time champions dating back to 2005.
