Hendriks sets school record in title performance with a time of 48.04

SAGINAW, Mich. – The St. Cloud State Men's Swim & Dive crowned another conference champion on the third day of competition at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference Championships on Sunday in Saginaw, Mich. Sophomore Raf Hendriks (Berg en Terblijt, Netherlands) captured a title in the 100-yard backstroke, setting a new school record with his performance.

TEAM SCORES

The Huskies are still in fourth place with one day left, checking in with 316 points. St. Cloud State currently sits behind Grand Valley State (728), Wayne State (464) and Northern Michigan (430).

TOP HUSKIES

Hendriks captured the conference championship and set the school record in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 48.04.
In the 100-yard breaststroke, junior Jayden Porter (Bismarck, N.D.) finished seventh with a time of 55.90.
In the 3-meter dive, graduate Evan Infante (Kenosha, Wis.) finished fifth with a score of 384.5 while sophomore Lucas Hammontree (Deerfield, Ill.) finished seventh with a score of 345.30.
