St. Cloud State Baseball announces 2023 schedule

Opening Day set for February 3 in Joplin, Missouri against Southwest Baptist
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Baseball has officially released their 2023 regular season schedule. The Huskies will celebrate Opening Day on February 3 with a noon start against Southwest Baptist in Joplin, Missouri before playing a schedule that includes trips to seven different states and three series against opponents ranked in the 2022 NCBWA Top-25.
SCSU's season-opening trip to Joplin features two games against both Southwest Baptist and Missouri Southern State at Warren Turner Field. The Huskies continue their southern stay the following weekend with a series at Arkansas Monticello. St. Cloud State's annual spring trip to Florida opens on March 9 with a three-game series at Nova Southeastern before playing Caldwell, Bentley and Pace in neutral-site contests.
The Huskies open Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play on March 22 with a midweek series against Southwest Minnesota State to open a 35-game conference schedule. SCSU will host the Mustangs (Mar. 22), Augustana (Mar. 25-26), Minnesota State-Mankato (Apr.4), Concordia-St. Paul (Apr. 7-8), Mary (Apr. 22-23), Northern State (May 2) and Wayne State (May 5-6) at Joe Faber Field. Pat Dolan's club will travel to conference series at Upper Iowa (Mar. 29), Winona State (Apr. 1-2), Minnesota Crookston (Apr. 12), Sioux Falls (Apr. 15-16), Minot State (Apr. 19), Bemidji State (Apr. 22-23) and Minnesota Duluth (Apr. 29-30).
The 2023 NSIC Tournament is scheduled for May 10-13 in Bismarck and Mandan, North Dakota. NCAA Tournament play begins with two double-elimination Central Region sites hosted by the top two seeds on May 18-20, followed by the best-of-three Super Regional held May 26-27. The 2023 NCAA Championships will be held in Cary, North Carolina beginning June 3 with the National Championship game set for June 10.
