
No. 10 St. Cloud State Women’s Hockey Defeated by No. 1 Ohio State in Game Two

Zimmermann, Lind the Goal Scorers for St. Cloud State
COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 10 St. Cloud State lost on the road to No. 1 Ohio State in game two of the two-game series. Jojo Chobak stopped 31 of 37 shots faced and the team put up a combined 14 shots on goal.
Laura Zimmermann would cause a turnover in the offensive zone and was able to capitalize to tie the game at one a piece. Taylor Lind was able to find the back of the net late in the third period on the power play to score the Huskies second and final goal of the game.
For the second time in just as many games, St. Cloud State was outshot as Ohio State tallied 35 or more shots on both Friday and Saturday. A category the Huskies led in on both Friday and Saturday was blocked shots as the team combined for 22 blocked shots in game two.
