Husky Baseball Family, Friends and Fans Weekend set for September 29 – October 1

Red & Black World Series begins Sep. 29; Alumni Day scheduled for Sep. 30 at Dick Putz Field
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Baseball has announced their schedule for the annual Husky Baseball Family, Friends and Fans Weekend coinciding with the start of the Red & Black Fall World Series on Friday, September 29 at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud.
"We always look forward to our Husky Fall Family, Friends and Fans Weekend," said head coach Pat Dolan, "This year we're excited to bring back Alumni Day and our Alumni Game. All alumni – whether they play or not – will receive a Husky baseball and a Husky hat. Get the oil can out and start warming up the arms – we'll supply the ice bags!"
Game One of the Red & Black World Series will be played at Dick Putz Field on Friday, September 29 with a 5:00 p.m. CT first pitch and a family and friends social to follow at Midtown Sports Bar & Grill. Saturday's Alumni Day features a 10:00 a.m. father and son baseball camp followed by the SCSU Alumni Game at noon. Game Two of the Red & Black is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday with various prize giveaways throughout the game along with an online auction for additional items. A potluck dinner will follow Game Two at Dick Putz Field. The weekend will wrap up with Game Three of the Red & Black on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
Admission is free to all Red & Black World Series games.
