2026 SCHEDULE
Â
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Baseball has officially announced its 2026 season schedule. The Huskies will open the 2026 campaign Feb. 13-15 at Missouri Western, will play seven nonconference games in Florida and a 37-game Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) schedule.
Â
"I believe this is one of the most competitive schedules we've put together in my 19 years," said head coach Pat Dolan. "Our Florida spring trip includes numerous regional qualifiers, which will be challenging, but will get us ready for the conference schedule. And our other nonconference series with Missouri Western will be a good test as their new coach brought in 31 new players with numerous division one and junior college transfers. And we're really looking forward to our two series at U.S. Bank Stadium, which will be a memorable experience for our student-athletes. Playing 14 games in 16 days will help develop our pitching staff as we will need everybody during that stretch of our schedule."
Â
The Huskies will begin with a three-game set at Missouri Western (Feb. 13-15) and will play seven nonconference games down in Winter Haven, Florida at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational. Down in the sunshine state, the Huskies will face Davis & Elkins (March 4), Barry (March 5), Ashland (March 7), California (PA) (March 8), Wayne State (MI) (March 10), Davenport (March 11) and Minnesota Duluth (March 11).
Â
In conference play, SCSU's two early season four-game neutral site series will be against Wayne State, slated for Feb. 20-22 in Joplin, Mo., and against Northern State, slated for Feb. 26 and 28 at U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis, Minn. The first three games of each of those series will be conference games while the fourth game will be a nonconference game. The Huskies will return to U.S. Bank Stadium for a three-game NSIC set against Bemidji State on March 14-15.
Â
SCSU is scheduled to have 16 games at home at Joe Faber Field, with its home opener set for March 21-22 against Augustana (three games). The Huskies are also set to host Minnesota Duluth (March 31, two games), Winona State (April 11-12, three games), Minot State (April 18-19, three games), Sioux Falls (April 22, two games) and UMary (three games, May 1-2).
Â
On the road in conference play, the Huskies will head to Southwest Minnesota State (March 28-29, three games), Minnesota Crookston (April 8, two games), Concordia-St. Paul (April 15, two games), Jamestown (April 25-26, three games) and Minnesota State (April 28, two games).
Â
The Huskies will then look to qualify for the 2026 NSIC Tournament, which will take place May 6-9 in Sioux Falls, S.D.
