Primerano is the second Husky to be named conference player of the week this season, following fifth-year forward Jenna Dominguez (Geneva, Ill.), who was named NSIC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 11.
Primerano scored the first goal and game-winning goal in win over Wayne State (2-0, Sept. 22), while also recording four shots, and then she recorded an assist on the Huskies first goal in win over Augustana (2-1, Sept. 24). With a 2-1 win over Minnesota Duluth, St. Cloud State improved to 4-1-0 on the season, marking its best five-game start to a season since 2000 when it reached the same mark. The season-opening victory marked the 13th time in program history SCSU has opened its season with a victory and the first since a 3-0 win over Northern Michigan on Sept. 1 to open the 2017 season.
DOMINGUEZ ON RECORD BOOK WATCH
Fifth-year senior Jenna Dominguez (Geneva, Ill.) will get her final chance to further etch her name in the SCSU record book in her final season donning the red and black for SCSU.
