
No. 9 St. Cloud State Women's Hockey Set for Series Against St. Thomas

ST. CLOUD, MINN. – The St. Cloud State Women's Hockey team (14-7-1, 9-6-1 WCHA) is set for a home-and-home series against the University of St. Thomas (7-16-0, 1-15-0) this Friday and Saturday. The Huskies will be at home on Friday, with puck drop set for 3:00 p.m. CT. On Saturday, the team will travel to Mendota Heights, with puck drop set for 6:00 p.m. CT.
SERIES HISTORY
The Huskies and the Tommies have played against each other eleven times dating back to the 1998-99 season. St. Cloud State has the 8-2-1 advantage over St. Thomas. When playing on the road, the Huskies have gone 4-1-0. When at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center, the Huskies are 4-1-1.
The two teams met earlier this season in another home-and-home series where St. Cloud State got the series sweep. In game one, Avery Myers (Fargo, N.D.) scored the lone goal of the game, helping the team win game one. On Saturday, Maddy Peterson (Princeton, Minn.) and Emma Gentry (Alpena, Mich.) each tallied goals, taking down St. Thomas by a score of 2-0.
