Dominic Ducato (Wrestling) and Jaylee Strickland (Women’s Soccer) honored for their November play
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Athletics recognized two student athletes as the Wolters Kluwer Athletes of the Month for November. Wrestling redshirt sophomore 133-pounder Dominic Ducato (Carpentersville, Ill.) was named the Male Athlete of the Month while Women's soccer redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Jaylee Strickland (Columbus, Ohio) was named the Female Athlete of the Month for their performances.

Dominic Ducato's November Highlights
- Helped lead No. 9 St. Cloud State Wrestling to a 3-0 start with a 29-12 win over No. 10 Glenville State, a 25-13 win against No. 21 Grand Valley State, and a 39-7 win over RV Findlay.
- Ducato has started a perfect 3-0 on the mat wrestling at 133 pounds.
- He defeated No. 13 Hunter Ross of Glenville State 6-4, Jak Keller of Grand Valley State 5-1, and No. 15 Nate Knowlton of Findlay 4-1.
- The redshirt sophomore was named NSIC Wrestler of the Week following the Grand Valley State Duals.
Jaylee Strickland's November Highlights
- 5-2-1, 0.59 GAA, .881 S%, 4 SHO
- Named to All-NSIC Second Team
- Earned wins in SCSU's first two NCAA Tournament victories, marking the longest postseason run in program history.
- Helped SCSU advance to NSIC Tournament Championship game for second time in program history and first time since 2011
- Recorded shutout victories against #2 Minnesota State (1-0, Nov. 6), Augustana (3-0, Nov. 10), Bemidji State (0-0, Nov. 14) and Pittsburg State (3-0, Nov. 21)
- Set program records for season wins (16), season goals against average (0.58), shutouts in a season (12), career wins (29) and career shutouts (20).
