
Eight Huskies Earn All-Conference Honors Ahead of Super Region V

Njos, Jesuroga, Novak, Dagel, and Murphy named to First Team
Burnsville, Minn.- Eight St. Cloud State Wrestlers have earned All-Conference Honors as announced by the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) league office Wednesday morning. Graduate Colby Njos, redshirt sophomore Joel Jesuroga, senior Nick Novak, redshirt junior Bryce Dagel, and graduate Dominic Murphy were all named to the First Team All-NSIC while redshirt junior Conor Knopick, redshirt senior Sam Spencer, and graduate La'Ron Parks were honored with Second Team All-NSIC. This was the most Huskies awarded with All-Conference honors since the 2020 season when nine Huskies were recognized.
At 149, Colby Njos captured his second All-Conference nod of his career after landing on Second Team All-NSIC last year. Njos is currently the No. 2 ranked wrestler and went a perfect 9-0 against the NSIC in duals. On the year, Njos is 11-2 with five bonus point wins.
In his first season with the Huskies, Joel Jesuroga was dominant at the 157-pound class. Jesuroga is 19-0 with 10 bonus point wins while going a perfect 9-0 in NSIC duals. Jesuroga is currently the No. 1 ranked wrestler at 157.
Nick Novak did not skip a beat this season despite moving up to the 165-pound class. Novak is currently ranked No. 5 at 165 and has totaled a 19-3 record with 10 bonus point wins. He also went 9-0 in NSIC duals. This was the third consecutive season where Novak has earned First Team All-NSIC honors.
At 174, Bryce Dagel earned his first All-Conference nod of his career after going 19-3 with 10 bonus point wins. Dagel went 8-0 in NSIC duals and is the No. 4 ranked wrestler in his class.
Dominic Murphy captured his third All-Conference recognition of his career while marking his second First Team honor. Murphy is undefeated on the year with a 21-0 record and has 10 bonus point wins. He is currently the No. 1 ranked wrestler at 197 and went 9-0 in NSIC duals.
In his second season with the Huskies, Conor Knopick earned his first All-Conference nod after being named to the Second Team. At 125, Knopick is 13-4 with nine bonus point wins. He went 8-0 in NSIC duals and is ranked No. 12.
Sam Spencer earned his second All-Conference honor of his career after being named to the Second Team in 2023. Spencer is currently ranked No. 9 at 133 and holds a 21-4 record with 12 bonus point wins. Spencer went 6-1 in NSIC duals.
In his first season with the Huskies, La'Ron Parks was a great addition to the lineup after going 18-3 with six bonus point wins. Parks went 5-1 in NSIC duals and is the No. 5 ranked wrestler at 285. This was the fourth All-Conference honor in Parks' career.
